friends

hey,
i feel that friends are always
there for you. well, that's what
people always say. "i'll be there for
you" but in real life? that kind of
sound like a fairy tale. for me,
i'll be there for my friends indefinitely.
i am just a call away, a text away.
but when i need someone to confide in,
friends just somehow seem busy at
that time. all missing in action.
not free due to unforeseen circumstances.
yes, you may argue saying that you really
had no time but give me a minute. put
yourself into my shoes, when you needed
someone to talk to, i had tried my best to free
myself from projects, work and what not
just to listen to you, let you feel better
after pouring all your troubles out. then
what happens? i stress about if you can cope
about it, contact and ask as long as i have the time
to. what do i get in return? one letter replies,
ignore, taking the care for granted. yet when i
need someone to confide in? you're busy.
typical ain't it? to all you readers out there.
ask yourself, how many of your friends tried
to hint you that they aren't alright? how many of them
needed some comfort? how many of them were
on the edge of breaking down yet put up a strong
front waiting for you to ask,"are you okay?"
just that little bit of concern could lighten their
moods. have you ever thought of it?

while, i admit saying all this does not make
me a better friend. but i just wanted to thank
those people that had been there for me
when i was down. i admit it's hard to figure
cause even if i have something off, i will
put up a strong front. yes, i am dumb
like that. on the outside, i am always crazy,
cheerful and hyped up whenever possible
but on the inside, half of the times, i am
just as vulnerable, to the point i will and
might break down any time.
so to those people out there, special thanks to:

i need to talk to. it's like whenever i am with you,
you understand how i feel. i don't need to say much.
the warmth i receive from you is endless. your
presence is not replaceable. thanks(:

such a joke. always know how to lighten the mood.

but i won't forget the things you have help me get over.
- justin(bro) glad to know you in drama. having the same
thoughts about stuff(you know what i mean) just glad
