It was their
first time out. It was hard to believe that they only met for a couple of days
yet it feels as though they had been friends for months. The feeling is
familiar yet distanced. He’ isn’t really tall but the way he acts around her is
really cute. It was like kids out on an excursion. She just acted the way she
normally did. Doing things however she likes. Then a sales promoter approached
them she just continued walking, but he was held back by the conversation. She
could see him thinking of ways to decline the sales promoter politely but it
wasn’t going well. Then, she did something out of his expectations. She grabbed
on to his arm and started dragging him away. He went along with it, though he
was still shocked by her actions. But that brought a smile to his face. She was
holding on to him. It wasn’t quite the thing that he should thinking about, but
it just was. Then, she said, she needed to smoke. That had being the words
closest to ruining the night. She knows, but being with anyone else she would
still have done the same. It was part of who she is. It might probably change
some time in the future, but that was who she is. She believed in being an open
book so that others would do the same. It works sometimes but sometimes she
just end up getting hurt. They chatted about their past experiences and their
likings. Before they know it, it was already dark. It seemed that they have
endless things to talk about. But when the time comes, no matter how much they
wanted to stay by each other, they will still have to part. They bid their
farewells, and when they were about to leave each other, she hugged him. It was
the kind of hug that makes people feels safe. She squeezed him just enough so
that he won’t feel hurt. Then reluctantly, she lets go. That would probably the
last time they would meet for the next few months.

I saw her, she always wore this guitar necklace and plays
with it all the time. Sometimes she would bite it. It was like that was her
charm. Every single time, I see her; it’ll be around her neck, even though it doesn’t
go with the outfit. Maybe it was a gift from someone special or maybe it’s
something to keep her calm. Whenever she is trying to avoid someone’s gaze she’ll
look down and start playing with it while talking, like she was nervous or something.
Then her smile, it looks like she was smiling for ten people. Her smile just
never fades. It made talking to her so easy and comfortable. She was the most
cheerful and bubbly girl I’ve ever met. And her eyes, the sparkle under the
sunlight. Especially when she was talking about her past funny experiences. Her
smile together with her eyes is probably the most beautiful scenery that have
imprinted in my mind. Her collar bones were thick, but it just made her look sexier.
Then her arms, she wore lots of accessories, like she was trying to cover up
something. Just as she lifts her hands up, the bangles went down. Then I saw
it. Angry red lines decorated them. The wound looks new. Then her knees and
calves. Her calves were really muscular but by the side, there were purplish
blue spots. It was similar to that of a office curtain. One line followed by
the other. Both her knees had scars too. It looks like those where kids fall
down over and over at the same spot over and over again, where the skin had
been so over damaged that it cannot return to how it used to be. I took a step
back and look at her. Why is she smiling? She was filled with injuries, doesn’t
she feel pain? But I guess, I will never know the answer, cause that was the
first and last time I saw her.

That's all for now.
