The wedding (over again, Dylan and Felicia)

In life there is a lot of miracles. For couples to meet, it always take more than love to get together. It takes effort, comprising, understanding, trust, perseverance and many others. To e able to like someone and stay close to their side is a blessing. To be able to love them and be together with them, that my friend, is truly being blessed.

She walked down the aisle, her wedding gown dragging down the red carpet. There were two little kids in front of her scattering the rose petals. It made her look like she was floating across a sea of flowers. Not that she isn’t pretty, but today, it look like she look like an angel. It was like she was descending from the heaven flying down, getting bound to him. She gave her parents a hug and then over to the left towards Christine to hug her too. Then she reached out her hand towards him. He was stunned by her smile. It was so pure, anyone who see it would fall in love with them instantly. In a few seconds, it would all be his. She’ll be his. He took her hand and that was all that connected both of them together.
In front of the priest, they look at each other, like how they did the first time they met. Then the connection was broken by the interruption of the priest. “Groom, you may say your vows now.”
Dylan’s snapped back into realty and tried remembering his vows.
“I, Dylan James take you, Felicia Evans, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold. From this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health till death do us apart. Even till then, you will still be my only one. The one that will always be in my heart will only be you.”
“I, Felicia Evans, take you, Dylan James, to be my husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health till death do us apart. I will always be with you in my mind and heart, with your physical presence or not. We will always be together.”
The audiences clapped and some even cheered as the vows are done. Then the priest had told them to exchange their wedding rings. At that moment, Dylan held on to Felicia’s hands. Those were the hands that he never want to let go. Those were the hands that he wants to hold forever no matter how annoying or ridiculous she might get.. Those were the hands that he will always hold on to. He slide the ring into her gloved finger, while she did the same shortly after. Then, it was the final step before their wedding is sealed. He leaned down towards her. Their lips touched. Soft at first then the kiss deepened. Rough like the angry waves demanding to be felt yet free like the wild horses roaming, knowing this is where they belong. This is who he belonged to. She is the one that taught him told isn’t a place but somewhere, where he can freely be himself and not get judged by anyone. To be truly comfortable with whatever he does.as the kissed had ended, they stood close to each other, still in the other’s personal space.at that moment, they know the problems that they were going to face will be together. At that moment, they know it was the start of something new. At that moment, they know, they were infinite.
