the miserable one

He pushed open the doors with more strength than what he needed to open them, rushed around the room searching for what he felt that might be left of her. Then there was nothing, nothing he could find. Not her, not her belongings, just an empty room that has left nothing for him to return to. Then from the corner of room he saw the burned up photo of both of them. He moved over and picked up the remains from the ashes. Even with half of the photo burned away, he could still picture her face. A pair of hazel eyes that emits the joy she felt, a smile that portray her happiness, all gone within that instant. However, he had seen it coming. He knew it brought it upon himself.

She knew that honestly she didn’t have the right to be angry at him. Who is she to him? She was just a sister, a nobody. She doesn’t have any rights, heck, he doesn’t even have to listen to her and take her into consideration. This wasn’t the first time she had felt this way. Even before moving in with him, she had already been used by him uncountable times. Every single problem he has she felt obligated to stay by his side, listen to him, console him and if possible help him get a solution. Then after all that, not even a single thank you would be received. She would just be thrown aside like a rubbish bin. This time it was the last straw. She couldn’t take the pressure anymore. She just did what she thought was right by not misusing another’s trust. If he don’t trust her it isn’t even her problem to settle. As she burns the picture of both of them, she felt the pang of guilt. Maybe she shouldn’t have been so mean towards him. Then again, it’s either she grow up from this or just shut up and suffer for the rest of her time. Even though he says that he won’t involve her in his problems again, those are just lies, somehow and sometime in the near future she would get dragged into the situation again. She took a final look at the photo as she dropped it to the ground and walked away, leaving the miserable one behind.

Hello midnight bunnies :3

Here’s another short story to get by, though it pretty much feels like a half-assed one. Sorry about that. Anyways, take care and don’t let the bed bugs bite.
